Meditate Creative

  • The Mothership NYC 252 Green Street Brooklyn, NY 11222 (map)

Inspiration seems to come and go spontaneously, except when artistically blocked. There’s a cool method to make sure creative ideas stay flowing when you need them to, and to have the clarity to know when an idea will manifest into song, dance, or story. Meditative awareness opens the heart to hear sounds and see movements on a different level inside and out. You can be filled with creative energy whenever you want! Do something different this new year, and start knowing how to use classical meditation techniques to unleash your inner repertoire as you share creative moments with others to spark their imagination. Fire up creativity, as we together, enjoy artistic connections with everyone.

Meditate Creative is a part of Limitless Health Institute’s “Kindness Serves” program that has been shared with artists all over the world by Lobsang Chunzom. She specializes in designing multimedia art programs integrating improvisational dance, kinesthetic imagery, sound awareness, and inner storytelling. Chunzom brings her extensive training in ancient meditation techniques and experience completing deep creative retreats, including a three-year meditation retreat in silence and solitude. This innovative presentation opens the true potential of your creative inspirations come to life and bring people together in a meaningful way.

This talk takes place at Mothership NYC's Second Tuesday salon. Our presentation will be followed by some wonderful performers sharing their creativity. Ernesto Villalobos will treat us to some virtuoso violin pieces. Kim Doan Quoc and Jamie Emerson will present a two-person interdisciplinary performance, and saxophonist Marcus Cummins and percussionist Aaron Moore will present experimental music.
